SPE Women in Energy 2013

Dancy Dynamics are delighted to be supporting SPE Women in Energy 2013 at the London South Bank University on 9th May.

The theme this year is ‘Celebrate the Differences’ and will examine the different qualities women in management bring to the table, and their importance and complimenting male styles of management.

The London section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) has run the annual Women In Energy (WIE) seminar targeted at women in the energy sector, for six consecutive years. This is the premier event for women in the energy sector and serves as an equivalent event to the Women in the City event for this industry.

The WIE seminar presents an opportunity to get together and discuss career challenges in working in the oil and gas industry. It facilitates networking amongst female members across all energy related sectors, allowing them to benefit from sharing experiences and insights on gender-related career topics.

Keynote speakers for this year are Iman Hill, General Manager – Technical and Operational Services Directorate, at Sasol, Oonagh Werngren, Operations Director, at Oil & Gas UK and Sarah Cook, Project Director at Fluor Limited.

Several workshops will also be running throughout the day:
